        IT RUNS!

I had to jump power from the fuel pump relay but it cranked up just fine.

Problem is I cant get the fuel pump to chime with the key... trying to trace this down.

                    For the motor stuff: $3,473
                    For the exhaust: $375
                    For labor: $1,000

All together: $4,848 which is the average cost of an LS1 swap...
But my motor and transmission are new too and $4,848 is close to the price of a brand new LS1 crate engine alone so I think I did pretty good.

Cranked up and alittle bit of mild driving (still open headers) - No fuel gauge or tachometer.

I had the PCM tuned too... ganna have to look into that.

Well, I have no gauges right now but everything else works fine. Fans come on automatically and manually, fuel pump works now, key turns everything on. I am ganna drive it around no gauges tomorrow when it comes from the exhaust shop and tell you whats what...

I'm taking the car to The_Merv from LS1 tech this weekend (road trip) to get the wiring and gauges sorted out and hopefully have a fully functional car.

I had to resort to using a Z28 Y-Pipe and my stock V6 Catback for now because I'm completely out of money. Going to do my full 3" exhaust at a more convenient time but right now I need a drivable car.

Got it back from the exhaust shop with the V6 exhaust still on. I was pretty impressed with the tone. I was expecting it to sound weak or dubbed down but it had a very throaty.idle... will post video later.

First, speedometer does work, oil and volts gauge too.
Second, I think the shifter cable is loose, Overdrive is now where Reverse is....
Third... it blew a power steering pump on the first day.

It drove fine for the short time I did. Its VERY snappy and I'm thinking because the gears.

Sadly... I'm running out of time and money. I may have to sell the car because I don't have the resources to fix the remaining problems at the moment and I am.in desperate need of a drivable car. This...really hurts.

Don't sell it. The shifter cable takes 5 mins to adjust, and you can live without power steering. The cluster is just wiring which isn't bad.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'll deal with it for now. I love my baby and I just invested nearly 6 grand into it, I can't give up now.

Now to continue on the story of the horror of my LSX swap...

The Power Steering Fluid isnt coming from the pump, it's coming from the steering rack. Passenger side boot busted overnight.

The Driver Side Head gasket is leaking coolant both into AND outside of the motor - Mechanic said he torqued everything down and used the right gasket... ehhhh...

The transmission cable, I have to modify the linkage to sit it further back or it will just pop back out.

I still have wiring issues that need to be resolved

I want to be shot at the moment.
