do you know if extrude honeing, I think thats what it called (liquid hone) would work for our manifolds? I know the Ford guys with the 200/250 I-6 swear buy it....
by the way, did you get the lid to fit yet?
my other truck has a 50 cal mounted on it

Yea... it works, but it's $900 to do a V6 intake.

I'm glad to see more coil packs moving to the firewall. Cleans up the motor sooo much, and I can see my shiney polished valve covers

The builder sent me some pics. He had to order some shorter pushrods, 6.95" instead of the stock 7.05 size so those should be at his shop the first part of this week. I have been using the holden intakes on my stock engine here at the house for mock fitting of items so I am sending that out to get ported out this week as well by them. The end is near guys. :woot:

              Now for the pics:

              Block waiting to be revamped

Heads after the new valve job. These are Stage 3 P&P

              L36 rods and CP pistons

              Pistons/rods going into the block

                Closeup of rotating assembly

Block getting there, good shot of double roller timing chain

Shortblock painted black and finished, heads loosely installed waiting on pushrods before final tightening. Heads need to be painted once I get the block back

It's looking good man. This whole setup is going to be N/A? Can't wait to see some numbers.

Hows the fitment on the holden intake? I know it was cutting close last time did you figure out some ways to make it fit better?

nothing a little hammering/cutting of the cowl can't fix. :)

But yea it is not a simple bolt on setup, takes some fabbing for sure

Did you have the oil pump cover milled for that double roller?
