Yup, the 41 ft/lbs is the stage torque, then the 90 degrees is the final. I wouldn't eyeball this angle either, I would use an angle gauge for this. I got a cheap Power Fist one from a surplus store here for like $20.00 on sale. It works just fine.

First do all the bolts to 20 ft/lbs in the recommended sequence.
Then do all the bolts to 41 ft/lbs in the recommended sequence.
Then do all the bolts all the way to the 90 degrees in the recommended sequence.

I sure hope so. Gotta finish compression test tomorrow. Clean the valves out(sludge gunk from hell). New upper intake gasket. Should I redo the bottom intake gasket too?

If I take the injectors off can I not run a compression test? Would it depressurize?

YES, it looks like you have already removed the lower intake, so now you kinda have to.

sorry..lol..i was looking at an upside down pic of the plenum, it looked like the lower intake..lol..sorry. If i was you, you really should go ahead and do the lower one also, now that you have every thing off, it will be super easy. So yes, i highy recommend doing it.

why does where the valve cover meets the head, and where the head is, there is soo much carbon build up I guess??

There sould be no carbon build up inside the valve covers or around the heads. How ever there will be carbon build up inside the plenum, and intakes, that is thanks to your egr valve.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
