DetailsFeaturesRelated GasketsAccessoriesShippingOriginal SCE Pro Copper Exhaust Gaskets for GM 3800 series 3.8L V-6 found in Buick, Chevrolet, Holden, Oldsmobile & Pontiac. Gasket Thickness: .043"; Material: Embossed Solid Copper; Package Contents 1 Pair.
Please see fitment instructions for Pro Copper Exhaust Gaskets.
SCE introduced the first embossed copper exhaust gaskets in 1995, and they are still the best way to seal even warped or irregular exhaust manifold or header sealing surfaces. Copper is malleable so the gasket conforms to surface irregularities filling in leak paths, unlike multi layer steel which is too hard for all but the smoothest surfaces. In house design, tooling and manufacture insure superior quality gaskets for the widest array of applications. Whether on your tow vehicle, motor home, hot rod or race car, a properly fitted SCE Pro Copper exhaust gasket will form a permanent trouble free seal.

I finally got the website to work on Sunday... I should have them in the next couple of days. What kind of problems were they having? Fitment or actual performance?

They were leaking and couldn't get them to seal correctly.

                  Re: Copper header gaskets

Make sure you use copper spray sealant and line the gaskets right up , becuase they only go on 1 way.

                    Re: Copper header gaskets

I know on the Felpro gaskets that the flat side (not the rounded edge side) goes to the engine block. Everytime I had them on backwards they blew, but they are holding strong with them on right.

all of them are retardedly expensive when you consider what they are.

yea, but when you buy the cheap ones, you'll be cursing yourself for not buying the good ones the first time if they fail...
