i have the same exhaust on 02 3.8 and its my only mod. when im driving and even when im at around 3-5k rpm i never get rasp. my only gets raspy when im idle reving over 3k

Yeah I agree with everyone else you should of definitely went with an after-market S- pipe you would of noticed more of a power gain. better flow and also a better sound. Those blacked out tail lights are going to look awesome though! Oh and Kyle do you also have the same size exhaust? Did you replace the S=pipe. I noticed going 3 inches actually does make it a little deeper and it tones down the rasp especially when replacing the S pipe.

well i had an s-pipe come with my magnaflow system but my mechanic did not use it when he istalled it ,said it wasnt needed,is the only difference that one is mandrel bent and ones not?? He just slipped it over the old s-pipe. will it really make that much of a difference??
