Can you follow instructions? Can you screw in bolts? Can you weld if nessasary? Do you have Stands and a jack? If you answered yes to these questions you'll be done in no time!

If you got the one designed for the V6 the hardest part will be getting the old exhaust removed. Installing the new exhaust should be self-explanatory with the directions provided.

But yeah, should go on pretty easily, just make sure you have the car high enough to get the over Axle pipe on there...

ok cool. i thought the hardest part would be getting the old off. looks like im ganna just hand saw that **** off. i wanna do it all by myself so i can save money and not pay some1 to install it. i will however get it welded later on down the line just to be safe.
how hard is it to get it around the axle?

if anyone has a write up with pics, that would be nice.

Not too hard. Just get the car jacked up fairly high and you shouldn't have too much grief.

So long as it isn't one of those damn flowmaster pipes, lol.

Na, I looked at the magnaflow kit, should be pretty easy.

Just get the car on jackstands as high as you can, and if you wanted to, you could throw a jack right in front of the Pass. Side LCA, and jack up the frame...gives a little bit more clearance when you're trying to get it over the axle...jsut be careful if you start to jack the frame, sh*t can get crooked real quick on those stands...

PS. Bone. I REALLY am diggin the new sig.

You can jack the rear of the car on the center of the differential, and I put my jackstands on each side of the differential, just outside the rear swaybar.

                          Re: catback install

You want the diff to hang down so the pipes will clear. I removed my LS1 exhaust and installed my Magnaflow in about 2 hours using hand tools. I also removed my stock exhaust in 1 piece.

is 150 average to what an exhaust shop would charge?

i had a buddy that told me if i get all the stuff he would do it for 50
(but i dont trust his skills and hes kind of dumb)
