Re: is this possible for a v6...

is there a muffler anywhere in there? if not then for a DD that would be a bad idea...way too loud. I dont think it would sound good on a V6 either... agreed it would be gone after a speed bumb or other such bumbs that DD's find.

N E ways, I had thought about something like this but to keep it legal when I wanted to do this and was in VA there would be too many bends after the cat to bring pipes back to front of sidepipe. I think if a custom shop did some bodywork and had it come through the fender on a SS or Trans Am it would look good. My old roommate and I looked for these type of Hooker sidepipes about 5 years ago for his 81 camaro and we could only find cheap JC whitneys that rust up real bad.

There was a guy with fake side pipes for sale a couple weeks ago in the Classified section.

That's different, I don't think it looks bad but don't know if it looks right.

I second or third that. It DOES look terrible. The car is too modern for that type of look and it doesn't go at all.

It looks terrible because the rest of the car is stock. IMO its the same as a ricer spoiler on a stock neon

I also think it looks terrible. They might look better hidden behind a side skirt and flush mounted opening. Like Elenor from gone in 60 seconds. But other than that not on a Camaro
