That would be side pipes. Pretty cool, but not something I'd do.

as with most things, it would require a large amount of custom fabrications. It's possible, but not cost or time effective.

Those kind of side pipes need to stay on stingrays and cobras, and definitely not on a V6 unless it's HEAVILY modified.

And anything is possible with the right tools, enough time and money...

Pretty cool, but it looks weird on a newer Camaro.

Ya, my neighbor had a 78'-Ray with side pipes. Two downsides: They get HOT! and the police aren't too friendly if they pull up beside you at a light and you rev it the smallest bit. I wouldn't suggest it unless you do some appearance mods, maybe something retro-ish, and get a v8 (it would look stupid with 3 instead of 4 pipes going in.

true, i believe the biggest issue, besides clearance, would be the fact that the exhaust gases are escaping through that pipe... making it incredibly hot. and when you step out of the car, you are bound to touch it with you leg, at least one time. that is all it would take for me to learn my lesson. :]

Sorry.... I love Cobra side pipes, and Viper side pipes.... but that car has TOOL written all over it (not the band).
