        yea, that shows that it's flowing more air, but as far as creating boost, which is what the real "ram air effect" is...that can't be found in a hood

          also thers something called i think tim green kit. something like that, that seals the volant to the trans am hood.. but he stopped making it :(

              my friends prelude has it 2... except for his, we had to cut it shorter lmao.. so he has a custom intake :P done by SS (my initials) Engineering

                  ok , i had a whisper lid, k&n air filter, and the slp cai. then i ended up changing to the k&n fipk kit. i love the k&n a millions times more. they both put out the same hp numbers. i was on the dyno with both. so i know !!!

                            Here's how I did my CAI. It's just a generic filter and whatnot, but it works great! Ran me about 50 bucks after everything. And don't worry guys. The engine bay is clean now. XD

                                i got the whisper lid with the kn filter and the austin SSRA, which is essentially an extended slp style cai. vey noticeable, especially at higher speeds. very impressed, post pics when the sun comes up
