best deep sounding exhaust for 3.4

I personally feel the BEST system for the 3.4 --- being OBD1 --- is a setup with headers.. Whether its RKSport or PaceSetter, doesn't matter.. With a 3" pipe back (no cat converter) to a flowmaster 80 series Muffler that has a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets. The SLP sounds OK on the V6s... Pretty much just makes it loud as ****, but the chambered setup of the 80 series gives it more of an aggressive tone for a V6 if you ask me.Mustangs.. Come to the darkside...

The dark side is the path to the shadow of greed. =D

I had Flowmaster 80 series on the 94 Camaro I use to have and loved it.2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe, Daytona Blue, Frost leather interior, navigation, 18 inch wheels, M6, fully loaded, intake, crank pulley.

Previous cars:
1991 Mustang (347)
2002 RS Camaro
1985 IROC-Z (305)
1994 Camaro convertible V6

magnaflow is amazing, it's hard to describe. smooth deep tone, then you get on it and it really screams. no rice sound, not raspy, straight trough design, very low back pressure.

When I had my 92 3.1,(very similar to the 3.4) I had a full dynomax catback in 2.5 mandrel bent pipe. Walker Cat, and dual/dual tips. It sounded amazing. Deep and throaty, even better than my 3.8.
This topic has been discussed many times, and you will never get a definant answer.

I have A resonator for a cat and three inch piping to a Dynomax superturbo muffler,It sounds very good, like a 8.But you will never get that exact sound from a 3.4.And diffentinatly not from a 3.8.$Ryan$
95 3400 Teal Green FireBird M5
Mods: see link http://lowrider.cardomain.com/id/mystical420
1986 Gold Mazda B2000 ROTIP :)
*New*74 Moded 350 Chevy Pickup

Don't listen to these jealous 3.8 owners who say it will never sound like a V8
My car has been mistaken a million times for an 8... current setup is a magnaflow high flow cat, 3" exhaust, flowmaster muffler... tomorrow pacesetter headers are being put on. I will let you know the difference with the headers if you want, but even without them my car sounds damn good for a V6.Sinister Six©
My \'95 Bird
I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.

I have a 3.4 and have a borla muffler. I think mine sounds EXACTLY like a V*, and If I could take a sound clip, yall would ALL agree. I like my borla about a million times better than flowmasters. Once you get above idle in a flowmaster you know you have a V6. But you cant tell on mine till about 2500. JMO though. Good luck, I would reccomend magnaflow or borla.Jordan
15.09@90.7
1995 Camaro 3.4 M5

At 2500rpm mine sounds just as deep as idle... I have really crappy sound clips on my computer at school I can post. I don't know how to get the audio off my camera so it always ends up sounding like a** :(Sinister Six©
My \'95 Bird
I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.
