Heads: www.Supersixmotorsports.com or thrasher. SSM is much better service for the heads. I ordered a pair for my car.

Headers: RKSPORT, CIA, and soon to be Pacesetter.

I would get the heads from Pacesetter when they come out. I would buy the heads from SSM they range anywhere from $650 up depending on what you have done to them. Mine were $1000 they are milled, 3 angle valve job, port and polish and new valve springs. Fully assembled.

To compliment the heads get a SSM cam or from Comp cams get a custom grind. And a pair of ported and polished intake manifolds to make some good power. Manifolds also found at SSM.

Stay away from the RKsport headers. I put them on my camaro a couple of weeks back. Man, what a headache. They use two bolt flanges to connect the headers to the Y-pipe, not three bolt. And the flange is really thin. After one weekend of driving around my car was farting outta the connection from the passenger header to the y-pipe.

After some "persuasion" I straightened out the flange and tightened it down over two sandwiched, somewhat thicker than provided, gaskets...it's holding for now, but who knows.

thats the dumbest reply i heard, "smart people" ok so then when you have to remove the headers for some reason you also have to use a torch to cut the welds, yeah realsmart  smart people use the right gaskest and they dont leak,

RK sport flanges warp so no gaskets will work..

              Mine are welded..

I was able to swap my heads with out cutting them apart.

Save your money and go with the pacesetter headers which should be available in a few months.

                    CIA headers. clearimageautomotive.com

                    Pricey, but quality.

They're made one at a time, to order, so it may take a little bit for them to arrive. Mine were going to ship last Thursday, but are actually shipping tomorrow. Three choices of ceramic coating colors... I got the new Ice Grey.

Only options available at the moment are RKSport and Clear Image Automotive. Neither one is really worth the money IMO, but if you're going to go with one then here are my thoughts:
                      - The very design of the RKSport headers is mickey mouse, stay away from them.
                      - As long as you're going to spend the money on headers, get the quality set from Clear Image Automotive, and throw in the bucks for ceramic coating.

I would check out some gm aluminum heads. they're lighter, reduce the detonation threshold of our engines, and are easier to port/polish. check GM's website for them. then have those ported/polished by ssm, port match the intake manifolds to the heads, and get a custom cam. yes, aluminum heads can warp easily if you overheat your engine, but dissipate heat better and are easier to cool. this is how they reduce detonation. you won't get any hp difference between iron or aluminum heads w/ the same configuration. Some people think iron heads make more power because they keep more heat in, but they raise the detonation limit too. this is how everything evens out.
