No way can I get vise grips in there. Barley enough room for a socket head.

Its bad. Been getting code P1153 from some time now. Its also causing my car to run lean, which is causing me to run hot, which is causing knocking, which is pissing me off :D.

I'm going to try heat one more time with a welded socket on the sensor. I heated it before but not read hot. If this does not work I'm pulling off the manifold.

Lol just be glad you dont have a 5.7 litre. Compared to 5.7l our 3.8 has much room as 4 banger honda to work with.

Well guys I got it off but it was not easy. I drilled holes in the socket in 4 places and then welded it to the sensor through the holes. I then heated the manifold for 15 minutes with a propane torch. Then I hooked a chain to the wrench and used a 4 ton jack to pull down on the chain and break it free. From there I was able to muscle it out myself.

When I put in the new one I put on a generous amount of anti-seize. I hope I never have to do that again.

          Thanks for all the help

good job. when i put in my headers i just soaked them in penetrating oil and took a wrench to them. came out really easy actually, with 110,000 miles too. nice job rigging it up! :p

I didn't even attempt it. Just ordered new ones instead.
