For those interested in these injectors. We are running a special on stock LS1 28.8# injectors. You can see them in the fuel section on our website under the LS1 f-body. They come 8 for $100...2 spares!!! :D If people don't want 8 and there is enough interest, I am sure I can give a "package price" for just 6 too! Let me know, we have a ton of them in stock.

Those injectors will definitely fit the V6. The reason that SLP tells you that they won't is because they are not on the application list for the V6. The will work however, I am certain of this.

You got it. They are 28.8#, and will need some sort of tuning to get the air-fuel ratio calmed down a bit beyond what the PCM will do naturally. I will post it in the sponsor section shortly!

Thats 30% bigger than stock! I'm all about getting some new injectors, but thats A LOT of additional fuel getting into those cylinders. I know the guys in the advanced section were experimenting with larger injectors a while ago, but the best they ever could account for was 24 or 26# injectors. I'm betting that 28.8 is bigger than the MAFT+ could compensate for without reprogramming (if that particular aspect can even be reprogrammed).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong or add to this if I forgot something...

Why are the ones at Texas Speed 28.8# and the ones advertised on SLP only 25#?

Uhhhh that's a good question.....I thought fuel injectors would only flow as much as your Fuel Pressure regulator would pump into them. Will these work on the 6 without major ECM reprogramming?

This is because they are not the same injector. I plan on trying this very thing on my car very shortly, and will be using the MAFT to adjust the A/F ratio. I'll post results.

You asked for it, so here it is! LS1 28.8lb injectors are in stock. Get your six injectors for $75 shipped to your door, anywhere in the continental 48 states. Shipping may apply outside the 48, call or e-mail for that pricing.

Also, your best bet is to call your order in, as our website currently is not setup with this special.

The LS1's used both 26lb and 28.8 lb. I would not suggest going to a 28.8lb...they are suggested for engines producing more that 400hp. Honestly, I think that 26lb would be overkill unless you are running forced induction or a big shot of nitrous.

Agreed, not many people here at all will need these. BUT, for those who do or want them anyway, here they are.

OneQuickV6 - Do you have the 26# injectors? Those would only 18% bigger than stock and might be borderline adjustable with a MAFT+ (I'd still prefer 24# though).

And you guys are definitely correct that you'd need either forced induction, or N2O to even warrant the bigger injectors.

Sorry, these are the smallest injectors we currently have. I can get you others, and will research them this afternoon and try to get pricing on some 24#'s.

I'd be game on the 24#'s (don't need em quite yet, but couldn't pass up a GP to get six for later!) but anything bigger is so much overkill for our engines. It would be like adding gass with a garden hose...

of course, on the other hand, if I could get the 28# injectors reprogrammed in the PCM, that make like 15% duty cycle at 6500 RPM's...

If you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator wouldn't that help...I thought the flow rating was just the max fuel the injector could push....and the actual flow was determined by the fuel pressure regulator
