Ok, so i went to autozone. The only code pulled was a code for a vacuum leak/irregular fuel tank pressure/low voltage.
      Probable causes.
      it said.
      CAnister purge valve.
      fuel sending unit.
      Fuel tank pressure sensor.
      and gas cap.

I replaced the canister purge vavle.
      and checked the gas cap.
replaced Fuel Filter. (the old one was wayy cloged)

(today i checked the fuel pressure and it read 4-6 psi.) thats after i replaced those things.)
Does this sound like a fuel sending unit? (when i start the car i cant hear it prime anymore)

Pump is going bad. 4-6 psi is low. You can either replace the whole sending unit, or just the pump. If you replace just the pump, go with a Walbro. What you could do is also check the fuel pump relay, you should hear it click just behind the left foot pad on the floorboard. Do this after letting the car sit overnight, so that you're getting a fresh prime to the fuel rail. If you hear the click, then your pump is probably bad, no click, and you might want to replace the relay.

i thought the sending unit is the pump?

and would a fuel pressure regulator cause pressure to be that low?
and do i have to get to the fuel pump TO get to the regulator?

Re: ECM!? ICM?! PCM?! wht is UP

Fuel pump is in the tank, and the pump is part of the whole sending unit. The regulator is part of the fuel rail. I HIGHLY doubt its a regulator problem, it sounds like the pump is starting to go out and can't keep up with the proper delivery of the fuel needed during acceleration or throttle. Id replace the pump.

Now, you have two ways of getting to the pump. You can either drop the rear axle, then drop the tank, or cut a hole above the tank and pull it out from the top.

Does the car put out any black smoke while it is running?

Re: ECM!? ICM?! PCM?! wht is UP

4-6 psi isnt really a "starting to go bad" pump.. Its fricken dead.
I've managed to change the pump without dropping the tank entirely.

                1st. Remove Muffler.
                2nd. Remove panhard rod.
                3rd. Disconnect fuel lines.
4th. Drop tank down, but you can angle it off the diff a little bit. Should be able to let it turn enough to get the pump wiggled out.

No black smoke comes out at all..(zero) and it sounds like my engine is like backfiring but with no pop. its weird.

Well, i just bought the pump. Should have been here at my door today. but itll prolly be here tommorow. Im definitely getting a fuel pressure gauge. to go with that. Im just nervous cause i dont want to hook it up wrong.

lol me to. I ran into town and back (couldnt go over 2000 rpm) but did make it.. but the next day the pump only produced about 1/2 a psi and the car would only start..then stall.
