On one hand it's GREAT! But on the other hand, I'm thinking an LS1 swap would have been a better choice in terms of $$, time, effort, and the end result of having more power. I'm guessing the car will only run mid 14's or so on the GTP motor unless he puts a lot more money into the motor. Either way, it's nice to know that it's do-able (if a GTP motor comes your way cheap). So props to him and hopefully he'll run it as soon as it's completed. Btw, Stormwolf, nothing wrong with posting some links to that. :)

what did he have to do for the swap? like what is different?

awesome setup, but 5-speed is gonn go kablooey.

Is it a full drop out L67?

did he consider to get an l67, but swap over all the RWD L36 stuff over the the L67? Or can you not do that to get the belt setup to work?

He has done a ton of work to the motor, it's not a stock l67. He did it to finallly have an L67 camaro so everyone would know how much was needed. He had to modify the blower case by cutting out the back of it to rerout the intake. If you really want to know more on it just go over to FTV6 and read, there are a few long threads on it there.

Im pretty sure everyone knew you could do this swap?

An LS1 swap is NOWHERE close to the same time, effort and $$$ first off.

I dont know how me moded his intake, but a blower off of a "Holden" would have worked fine.

I dont see the point of putting in a motor that offers 40 more hp stock for all that work. If you realyl want to go S/C, centrif. is more efficent.

40HP over stock.. but slightly modded.. these engines are known to put out 350+hp.
