no they arent. not the same at all. a stroker refers to making the stroke of the piston longer by lengthening the throw of the crank...boring an engine refers to making the pistons bigger. both add displacement, but offer different effects power wise. read a book dude.

another question....whats the oil pressure normally at on a 98 3.8??? when driving mines at like 32 and when stopped it droppes down to around 27ish....i know that alot of gm cars and trucks are like this but i just want to clear my mind since ive only had it for 2 days now!!!
im pretty sure my gauge is accurate cause before my engine took a dump it was like 55 psi, and then when i blew it, the guage read about 15psi and then when i cranked it up and let it warm there after it would go all the way down to about 5...
as long as you oil pressure stays the same i dont see a problem though...maybe someone else can chime in

Mines 60+ on start up at idle and just regular driving 50-60 PSI , only when I start driving heavy on the throttle when its 115 degrees out for 30 min. to hour it will drop to 40 PSI or so and hang there, that was with 10w30 RP. Now I'm using 20w/50 RP and it is staying above 50 PSI to 60PSI I think about all the time. It hasn't been too hot here so I'll see what it does in the summer.

I would avoid Bosch plugs completely. They tend to cause some strange behavior with our engines. AC Delco or NGK are quality plugs for a good price.
Good spark plugs will generally run you about that much. I've heard good things about the MSD, but personally run Taylor wires.

NGK TR55's are great for stock and NGK TR6's for nitrous or FI.

Went ahead and moved my starter wire from the back, to the front again since it had no effect on my drain on the battery. Also made me nervous driving...
