                Re: Pulling an Engine

as i've said in many posts before.... no space at all. .25 inches of space between my rear bumper and garage door. lifting gar up is nto an option.

UPDATE: compression check done. tranny is off to the shop so now its time to play the waiting game on parts/gasgets

well... about a week but the thing is a grease bucket so im gonna steam clean the engine compartment and engine. the slipping / missing was caused by heavily corroded spark plugs. my dad sent me this email:

we found that the spark plugs are nearly totally burnt up. I have never seen plugs so eroded. Because of this I believe you had missing or misfiring under a load. I still want to check the brand of plug and see if the design is different from all the other plugs I am used to seeing. The tip if the electrodes are burnt down to a thin post. Looks funny.

well dont clean it up with a heavy duty degreaser. I did on my 97 and it took the paint right off to the metal.. crazy...
