I like that style and color. The only thing I don't like is the rear end.

How's the performance compare to our stock ones?

no, i plan on selling it in a year. I'll either get another stang or a camaro. The onyl other mod I would think of would be wheels. Like I said, I sitll have my bird, and will continue to build this hopefully

I do have a question though... you bought the car, and plan to sell it in February next year?

Isn't that going to lose you a small chunk of change?

Re: dont bash, but here's the new toy

It may, but my interest rates will more than cover the difference. not to mention, every place I look now has them selling for 1-2k under msrp used. I should realistically be able to get around 19k at the beginning of next year for it (as long as the economy doesnt continue to get worse) and will have my interest rate decreased by a few percentage points, countering the loss on the new vehicle. This is also a choice I was going to make as the newer model mustang will have an extra 100hp or I may go with the camaro, which is what i really wanted

I know just thinking you might get harder then expected...

New Mustang is going to make your value drop a bit on top of the normal depreciation. Even with making a good deal. Just saying typically you lose value if you sell a car a year later even with a good deal.

Yea it's not a big deal. i see exactly where you're coming from. if i do decide to keep it then it will be modded as usual but if not, it will stay mostly stock. The only other thing that's getting done, which is not a performance mod, is the tinted windows. Like I said, if I cannot easily return the part back to stock, then I wont be buying it.

they are a pretty decent ride (even for a ford ;)). my buddy just picked up one with a 5speed over the fall and uses it as his DD. he's got a pypes axle back exhaust and intake, and it's pretty comparable to ours stock with the same mods.

but he would get his doors blown off by my full exhaust and bolt on setup any day of the week --- twice on sundays :D

overall, nice deal man. hope you can mod it up or trade up for a new 'maro
