they are a pretty decent ride (even for a ford ;)). my buddy just picked up one with a 5speed over the fall and uses it as his DD. he's got a pypes axle back exhaust and intake, and it's pretty comparable to ours stock with the same mods.
but he would get his doors blown off by my full exhaust and bolt on setup any day of the week --- twice on sundays :D
overall, nice deal man. hope you can mod it up or trade up for a new 'maro
thanks, I plan to do the ater of the two. Even if I can afford a 1ss, ill probably just buy the ls or lt version and maybe save some money for when I have kids

Lol I went to the cehvy dealers and asked them how much they would give me for a trade in on a cobalt sicne they didnt wanna sell me a camaro. the guy just looked at me like I was an idiot and then realized I was being sarcastic. Kinda treated me like I was a jackass. That was the plan the entire time after I did it lol.
On a side note, the trans is already being repaired at 514 miles. Hopefully this thing isnt a lemon.
I'll take better pics when I can actually do a decent job washing and waxing it. there's too much salt on the road and that was taken by my kodak, not my brand new canon camera

no I still have my fbody. I cant decide if I want to keep it or not though. If I do, it's going to be on the back burner until the end of next year. By that time, I will decide what motor I want to go with. It will not be a v6 though (not because I dont want one, but because I will already have a v6 muscle car). I will probably go with some form of an lsx and a t56. Like I said though, I still have all 3 of my vehicles, but one needs to go probably soon

they said there were no problems, but ever since it left te dealer, I have not had a single problem with it (over 1k miles and counting lol). I really do not care if they had to adjust something or fix it, as long as it's fixed. If I ever do find out though, I will let you know

Just a little update, I ended up modding it anyways. I'll have to psot some updated pics and a video clip as the car has had a little bit of an overhaul. the next thing I'm looking for is figuring out which wheels I want to buy..
Only performance mods so far are an intake and full exhaust. I do have a supercharger on order though as an early christmas present :D
