        UPDATE: They STILL havent got it in yet, and I'm getting pissed, because I have to drive to Ft. Worth for drill this weekend.

              Sounds like a terrible shop. Tow it out of there to a shop that actually wants to do the repair for you.

                    Just got home with it today. It drives like a new car, and I think it runs better than the day I bought it. I'll be breaking it in by driving to Ft Worth for my drill, babying it the entire way.

                          I hated my spec II, probably one of the reasons on the list of reasons I got rid of my car. But wasn't going to drop the tranny again pull it, spend like $200 for another clutch, then put it all back together.

                          Too much time/energy.

                          The chatter was horrible, it held up to power ok, but I do not want to deal with chatter on a DD ever again, EVERY time I backed out of a spot, unless I road the clutch hard, my car would shake violently, just a pain in the ***. Still occasionally slipped at the track a little, and after like 7k miles helped break my transmission.

                            Ok...I'm in Ft Worth now...without the Camaro...Unfortunatly, the knocking WAS NOT the clutch as told...the intake gasket which was why she went to the shop in the first place, was improperly installed and blew out again...in Ardmore, OK...I live in Oklahoma City, so having my car break down 90 miles from home was an enraging thing. Either the oil pump is dead, or a headgasket blew again all thanks to an improper install of the intake gasket. Oil was in the coolant, and coolant was in the cylinders and oil pump again. No overheat, thankfully, but I lost oil pressure on the Arbuckle mountains as well as a good amount of oil/coolant. When I pulled off to a gas station, it gave up and died. Well, the clutch WAS NOT the problem, but did need replacing on further investigation. It was the gasket being improperly installed and leaking into the engine...again. So, heres to another week without my 'maro...and on spring break too...:mad::stp::stp::mad:

                                Who is your family mechanic, some 3 year old with a Fisher-Price My Little Mechanic tool set?
