        I've got about 12 miles on my rebuilt motor
        2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

            i first used 5w-30 for the cold start protection
            but I also heard that 10w-30 would be good
            I broke them rings in good and they are giving GREAT compression!!

              I was told to use 15w-40 diesel with zinc additive (after inital break-in) for the first 4K miles (1K and then 3k).

                    I know this isnt an f-body but my dads semi has the odometer reading 1,342,600 miles!! on same engine/tranny. Peterbuilts last forever!!!:banana:

                    '96 Trans Am M6:) Cam, lifters, 1.6rr, lt4 springs, 4 bolt mains, long tubes, TDs, short throw...etc

                      132k+ on the mero. SO far I've gotten 25mpg mixed & 21mpg city w/some blasts down the track. Not sure on what, if any engine mods have been done (previous owner(s) need to chime in on that) but it does smoke down the track. Besides that, it's still going strong.

                      it's not a dead thread, it's recycling ;)

                            36,XXX wish i had alot less kinda hoping to have the car for the next 10-15 years sounding picky here but idc


                            I was watching ferris buelers day off and the ferrari that he had the spedometer only had 3 digits like it would roll over after 999 miles anyone else notice this

                              93 V6 Firebird A4....close to 136,000 on the clock....so far ive had to change 2 starters, 2 altenators, 1 water pump, abs control module, 02 sensors....basically minor stuff.
