Side note, have you tried to spin the LS1 by hand yet? I'd recommend doing that before you drop it in. Change the oil before you even think about starting it. Replace consumable items like plugs and such.
Yeah I'm just going to swap the lines and tank over from the T/A. That way, there hopefully won't be any problems. I need to take the rear end off anyway so Ill drop the tank then.

And actually, before I started tearing the T/A apart, I could drive it around. One of the first things I did when I got it home was change the oil and I only drove it around my neighborhood but it seemed like everything was on the up and up. I still need to get my plugs though. Guess I'll go with NGK TR55's.

Oh, and LS1 swaps are NOT condoned on firebird/camarov6.com. Please reinstall your v6 and make posts about how it's the greatest thing on earth or suffer the consequences!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a 98, otherwise you were gonna hate your life. Mine was 99 to 99 so it was just a matter of connecting 1 wire, lol.

Ohhh yeah lol, I made sure it wasn't a 98. I read about a lot of people who had 98's wanting to swap a transmission or the likes and everybody was tellin em they were screwed. I decided I didn't wanna deal with that.

                    Re: Adding a few cylinders...

This reminds me of Magnus when he did his own swap. You'll be find as long as there's no pre-existing problem with the LS1 engine and tranny, sensors, fuel and such.

The other guy had no problem with his, if I remember correctly the engine only had 30k on it. This is pretty much a clear swap since some of the parts are complimentary.

Unlike doing a swap on my Fiero where everything has to be done.

                            Today's progress:

                            - Made shifter hole
                            - Started to put new water pump on, but a bolt broke off so now I need another new one
                            - Took engine off k-member so we could power wash both
                            - Took tranny off engine and looked at clutch. Now I know I need a new clutch.
                            - Fixed my reading lamps
                            - Got angry at the guy who I'm getting my headers from
                            - Realized that this most likely will not get done before I leave for college :(
