    "What's his credibility?"

Scott Mueller probably wrote that page, and definitely recommends those bushings. I've run into Scott's stuff while researching sway bars.

This link is one example of Scott's knowledge and also contains his recommendation for the 1LE bushings:

Based on the things I've seen, Scott looks to me like a guy who really knows his stuff.

Josh - You and I _seem_ to be disagreeing a lot. It's just happening - I respect your postings a lot.

V6Bob...I don't remember ever disagreeing with you on any subjects, and I also respect a learn a lot from your posts, as well as FirebirdGT's. I am simply stating my opinion that the poly bushings are a better setup than the 1LE setup. This, of course, is my opinion and like the opinions of most people on this board, should not be taken as fact, but simply an arguement in the quest for the best setup of our cars. I do not wish to go toe to toe with anyone here, but would like to learn which setups are best and why, and, along the way, express my opinions for what I feel performs the best.

V6Bob, I noticed in your sig that you are running 1LE swaybars with poly endlinks. I was wondering why you chose that setup.

I would like to say that today I ordered my SLP 1LE front 32mm/rear 21mm sway bars. When talking to Joey from SLP, I asked him what endlinks does he recommend. He told me to use Prothane or Energy suspension. I asked him why not the 1LE and he told me this, and I quote:

"The prothane and energy bushings are stiffer than 1LE, and we suggest these for the swaybars"

So I am glad to hear that directly from someone at SLP. Makes me feel a little better.

Just wanted to keep ya guys updated.

Also, I would like to thank Viper, Firebird, and V6bob for there help. It is nice being a newbie, and getting some help.

          Thanks guys,
          Chris

I had just bought the car and I was following the conventional wisdom. Not too bad, but not what I would do with what I know now. I'm planning to move toward more understeer with a 35mm front or a 19mm rear, haven't decided which. A friend of mine made a mistake driving the car and we ended up doing two 360s at 70 mph on the Interstate. The poly endlinks are OK, but I think the 1LEs are very close and might fit the bar ends a bit better.

I don't trust salesman. Company's are there to make money, and salesman commissions. Many "must have" aftermarket products are worthless.

SLP uses the 1LE on the Firehawk. SLP Engineering told me to use the 1LE and so did L.G. Motorsports.

These endlinks do not have a higher durometer value than the 1LE. (Ask SLP to give you the values. I'll bet the salesman won't even know what you're talking about.)

I confirmed this already when I was deciding on my suspension components. Guess I'm going to have to buy all these endlinks and test them again to get the data.
