    i agree with the kicker. i have two kicker comp 2009 editions, 12's loud as hell. i traded my one 2006 kicker comp VR in a JL power wedge box for them. before that i had two kicker 10's, also VR's like 2002 models, with the crazy tribal stuff around the edge. somewhere in there i had two pioneer premire 10's, with a kicker 600 single channel amp. either way, all the enclosures were sealed. i love an oversized sealed box, bass so deep it rattles your soul.

      Go to a car audio seller, Check out the kickers and such...

      but also give the JL w7 or w8 a listen... w6 should be just good, pounds good and doesnt require high amps.
      Wait, Is that a V6 or V8?

          I run Alpine type X's , their as loud as my 12" KIcker Solo Barics I had in before. I have a Hifonics Brutus amp giving them 500 RMS. Damm their loud. lol I had a type R before but wanted more. Their in subthump boxes also. Alpine rules! LOL

            It all got solved today... got a new one. Warranty honored. And it gave me time to do some offset work on my box. I'll get pics in a while..
