• ZEX Show Purge Kit installed

Installed now my Nitrous show Purge Kit and it look awesome

Stop them in their tracks with the all new ZEX Show Purge Kit. Compatible with just about any application, the ZEX Show Purge kit delivers a 15-foot cloud of colored nitrous into the air giving you all the look of a nitrous-oxide equipped racing vehicle.
Regardless of whether you have nitrous actually installed on your engine, the ZEX Show Purge Kit can be installed anywhere you like on the vehicle including the base of the hood, exhaust system or other highly visible location. Using the high intensity award-winning ZEX Purge Cloud LED included in the kit, you can illuminate the nitrous cloud in red, green or blue for a vibrant and colorful show.

I also got the Machine Gun Module but no instructions and any clue how to install.
It should look like this:

VIDEO

The Module has 3 wires out: white, black and red.
i think red is the pos. of the solenoid and black is neg. BUT where i have to put the white one into ?

im thinking most likely its an accessory wire..the switches for the NOS kits are blue and light up when in the on position..for their switches the wires are red, blue, and green..red is for power, green is for ground, and blue is for another "accessory power" to make the switch light up when on..otherwise the switch will still close and open the circuit..the switch just wont light up when on

by the way..if you hook up that module..i wouldnt hold the button down for long..all that cycling of the purge solenoid puts a lot of wear on it..thats probably one reason why you only see them purging in short bursts at a time...that and the machine gun effect

So you dont use nitrous you just have the appearance of it? Why? I dont like the Machine gun affect looks like its misfiring or something.

I was thinking about just buying a system so i could purge, but nitrous is too expensive for me to just to purge it.. I would've went with CryO2 purge kit. It would only cost $10 to refill it with its CO2.
But your Zex system looks neat and i'm sure its an attention getter!

im not sure you can do this with CO2 ..nitrous has a white shade to it which the LED uses to reflect off of and light up..giving the cloud some color..CO2 comes out clear/non-visible doesnt it?

^ yeah..i think the machine gun effect they show in the video cuts it short too..with just a regular purge it looks like you get a much taller..bigger cloud that lights up better
