  • Tuning for Nitrous with HP Tuners

I'm finally starting to install my NX kit in prep for the Shootout a few weeks away! The install is fairly straight forward but I'm having some concerns about my tuning. Currently I have a custom tune from TSP through the mail, meaning no dyno tuning. But I had that tuning done while my car was still NA, and it works great so far I think (15.1 @ 90, on street tires). But will it be ok for nitrous? I've never had any KR problems or SES lights regarding engine trouble, but will my AF ratio that's optimized for NA be safe for the spray? Or should I set the parameters back to stock and spray on that?

if tsp advanced your timing, then you need to get it reprogramed.

        Call them.... ask them.

If they did an N/A tune... my guess is... timing has been advanced!
