  • confuse about the port and polish idea?

    okay i have read some of your threads about the port and polish. Question #
    1. What is the average to port and polish?
    2. What is the average hp for this(iam using 75 wet shot)
    3. Is it worth it for a daily driver?
    4.Would it work with cams or 1.9rocker arms

    next i see 1danv6 is considering for rocker arms or cams. iam in the same situation what should i get. keep in mind i have nitrous

            Nope.... just ported heads n intake... stock cam still

              yea there are a few guys here with the powerpack. Decent gains from it was found. Some guys recommended getting just the heads and intake from them and then getting a new cam made somewhere else though. Supersix takes stock cams and regrinds them I guess. For the price though their stuff is pretty much the cheapest route.

              Abbott heads have some other good heads and intakes for our cars. They have been discussed on the forums a lot as well. A little more money but some good craftmanship.

                    In the extreme summer hear... when running nitrous.. 100 shot... I've tossed a couple gallons of 100 octance cam 2 in the tank to be safe.... because I run stock timing

                      At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                      Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
