I need some info on upgrading the fuel system to run the 120 shot on the NOS 5175 kit on a 97 3.8l camaro with heavy bolt on's... I understand the stress on the internals, im just simply looking to take a few steps to safty, I dont use the bottle that much... but the 85shot just aint doing it. Any reviews on the MSD Fuel Pump? or the Venom Injectors? car has ran the 85 shot through about 5 bottles great with NO problems.
(ps. I ran a search but could find no info on these two products)
OK, well I had the following done to my fuel system to support my 120 dry shot on the nos kit 5175
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator (which can no longer be purchased, new model came out) :(
Kenne Bell boost a pump at 50%
Custom programmed computer by superchips
stock injectors
I am planning on installing a walbro in tank 255 lph fuel pump, you would want to look into this.
As for venom injectors, I upgraded to accel 24 lb injectors and did not tune the computer for it and lost an engine in under a month.
Stock worked very well for me.
Make sure you have a fpss
A fuel psi guage is a good idea also
