  • NOS!!! gimme some

I have a 3rd gen v6 and i want something that'll give me loads of power real fast. Don't know much about nitrous oxide, but i wanna learn. Is it recommended on an older engine such as mine, do i have to prep or do any mods to my engine to make sure it can handle this mod. Where or what company if any will make a kit compatible with my car.

Well, first you are looking for nitrous, nos is a company (or slang for nitrous :D )
How many miles do you have?
    How does it run?
    Does it smoke?
    Fuel economy?
Do you do all the regular maintenence yourself?
Do you know a lot about cars?

You must understand that nitrous will find the weak link of any engine and make it brake!!
There is no guaruntee with nitrous. You could put a 25 shot (do they make it that small???) and grenade the engine.

    I like this book:
"how to install and use nitrous oxide injection systems for maximum horsepower" by joe petit
    Go to barnes and noble
    Buy this book
Lots of good info to read up on.

Then call NOS (nitrous oxide systems) and ask them if they have a kit for 2.8's, I bet they do.

Also do a search for various things like safety equipement, maintenence, extra's etc

      Building the Tom Henry RS

      By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
