I did a search for this and didn't really find much. Where is the best place to put the nozzle? I've heard right in front of the TB I've heard further away is better and everything inbetween. Is this just something you play with until you've got it right? Also how am I going to do this on my 98? Even if I put my stock silencer in theres not really somewhere to put it. Without my silencer in I know I sure can't put a nozzle in dryer duct (don't give me crap for using dryer duct until you can come up with something better).

Those of you that have 98's how did you mount your nozzle?

The only thing I can think of is to drill the throttle body, tap it, and stick the nozzle in there.

I don't think there's any reason why that wouldn't work.

Is it a wet kit or a dry kit, if its dry then drilling the throttle boddy will hurt you, either the MAF wont read all the new air causing a lean condition or the nitrous will freeze the sensors yet again causing a lean condition. I used a coupler that came off a mustang cold air kit to replace my silencers and still had two of the stock tubes for my intake, I just poked a hole in it and shoved my dry nozzle there, if you try this with a wet shot gas will pool in the shallow ribbs and cause a KABOOM!!!, so tell me what you got and i can help AIGHT!!

its dry so just drill and tap a hole into the rubber tubing

Yeah it's a dry kit. The problem I'm running into is the stock rubber pieces are shapped really weird cause it's a 98. The one that hooks from the TB to the silencer goes from 3.5" to maybe 5" and theres no where to easily stick a nozzle. Would the rubber piece right behind the lid be to far away? Can you buy metal piping like what cai's are made out of, like get an elbow or two and try get them to connect? Theres gotta be something better than dryer duct. Thanks for the replies.

I had considered two locations. One, into the silencer itself. Wasn't sure if the thin plastic would hold up to the cold without getting brittle.

The other option would be to plumb a short piece of 4" pvc pipe into the ducting. You could probably do this if you eliminate the silencer. Not sure if the ducts on each end of the silencer would seal to a simple 4" replacement section of pipe though. If not, then you could do dryer duct (not so great) or heavier ducting (ihozs.com). This way the nozzle would be in a sturdy section of pvc pipe, not in the flimsier part of the ductwork.

OK, so it is a dry kit.
My suggestion is buy a lid for your car.
Drill a hole into the side of the lid and push the nozzle in there. Then tighten a nut on the other side and viola :D
To improve on this put a t fitting after your solenoids and have another nozzle drilled into the other side of the lid

Go to the bottom to the pic of lsi motorsports never satisfied
This is similar to what I am talking about but on the outer edges of the lid

So a lid is actually worth it? I wouldn't want to put the nozle in my lid cause of it's size. Haveing the jets infront of the intake sensor won't cause any problems? I've been trying to avoid the money on buying this but the more I look at it the better it looks because of that huge round opening. Putting a nozzle in the lid won't be to far away? Looks like I get to look into the best place to get a lid.

With a dry kit you want the nozzle mounted as far away as possible from the throttle body to utilize the full potential of the cooling benifits.
I only just found that out, I always went nice and close to the tb
