• Having a n20 problem

Well i hit the juice, in 1st the car charged hard up till the about 5k in second then it surged and bogged down, i shifted and and the car continued to bog down horribly.
My a/f read slighty rich the whole time.
I don't have any noticable change in idle, or an ses light.
I have tr6's at the gap they came with.
The timing has been retarded 1 degree.
Any other info you need to help diagnos this problem?
Thanks a lot. By the way this is the same problem I had back in spring.

First check the nitrous filter.
Next, 95-97 v6's seem to need the throttle body screen in the throttle body, 98 and up seem to not need it.
I tried juicing w/o the screen in there and the car bogged from all hell!!!!
Take a look and see if your throttle body screen is in there, damaged, or whatever.
Also another slim chance but here is an idea: I have had my airfuel ratio read stoich but had the fpss switch come on and off and give it a pulsing or what could be thought as bogging
Let us know what happens

Hmm. I removed that screen a while ago. I figure the n20 would freeze the damn thing. I will have to put it back in and see how it works. I don't know about the filter, if i even have one, it could be contained in the zex box. Thanks for the reply.

Do you think that the nozzle is spraying into the maf and freezing it or giving it a bad reading? Where is your nozzle mounted when you had the NOS system? Mine is about 5 inches away in the bend of the slp intake. Thanks for the help.

I have the slp cold air kit
Ya know the rubber elbow?
Mine is mounted right in the bend and shoots right in there.
W/O the screen nitrous would not work.
W/ the screen, well ya know...... it worked
