Do you have to run a nitrous filter, blow down tube and purge kit to run nitrous or can you get by with none of this?

They are accessories and are not crucial to the operation of the system, but they are good to have.

ok harris speed works has a sale for $280 for their wet kit. I will have a window switch and bottle warmer. Are the things I mentioned that I won't have easy to add later on down the road?

if you are running it at the track you need a blowdown tube to vent it out of the car. Purge kit and nitrous filter are add ons that help the kit perform to its max. A purge helps make sure you are getting the full shot of nitrous as soon as you hit the button and then drain the pressure when done running

the purge, when you are done you close the bottle then purge. This releases the pressure and nitrous in the line. Without it your have that pressure and nitrous sitting in the line the whole time

It puts constant pressure and strain on the solenoids and can wear them out prematurely. If you dont have a purge you can just loosen the bottle nut (or the fitting on the bottle nut, whichever) and slowly bleed out the pressure when you're not using the system. Be careful though, do it very slowly so you dont freeze your hand.

haha ok i can use gloves then. Looks like I will be getting the kit then. I already bought the MSD window switch from radracer and trying to find a bottle heater new but someone bought it and didn't use it(having hard luck).
