I'm fixing to have my cat cut off my 1997 Z, and i'm not sure but isn't the 02 sensor in the cat? and this model does only have one cat right? What do i do if the 02 is in the cat, can i drill into the replaced pipe and thread the 02 into it or do i need to buy the simulator thing to plug into it?
u need to have the O2 taken out...then u cut the cat off and replace it with pipe. then u need to re-bung the 02 sensor back in.... you will throw an SES light if u dont get an 02 simulator...or a tune
