  • pace setter difference?

    if i hav the full catback flowmaster system, how much difference in sound would pace setter headers make for the 3.4L

    You'll probably see about a 10-15hp increase. I installed them both on my classic mustang and my firebird and definetley felt an increase in how the engine revved and power.

        I can't say exactly on the 3.4 it depends on how restrictive the stock manifolds are, but on a full bolt on 3.8 I believe tests have shown 10hp gains in some cases and it definitely adds to the sound!

          i agree, with a high flow cat or ! cat and if all your tubing is 2.5"s or up. But adding that only combines with other mods resulting in increased horsepower from everything.

            I can say that after putting Pacesetters on my 3.8 the sound got much deeper. Combined with my Flowmaster catback, there is zero rasp.
