on their block off plates.. is there something on the plate that fits inside the stock exhaust manifold? i had some made but they are smooth top and bottom side and i fired up the car... tick tick tick... exhaust leak so i torqued it down more and of course when you tighten it up it wants to rotate with the bolt but i got it to stay in place with some vise grips.. but i am still leains out some air there i do have a metal exhast gasket between the manifold and the plate.. i just need to know if theres actually seals it off or is it smooth on both sides too?

there's is just a flat piece of metal, nothing that goes into the manifold. Yes it will want to rotate. I run the plate on my headers right now
