So a V8's intake will fit a V6 as long as you have the elbow?

In the pic he is missing the elbow and the 2 filters. That would make it a full kit if you had them. You can also buy intake elbows for around $30-40 shipped. You would want a 90 degree elbow with 4" on one end for the TB and whatever the SLP one is(I think is 3"). If he is selling the whole kit with eveything for less than a $100 that would be a good deal and buy it. If it is more just make your own, it is cheaper and probably flows better.

you can buy the intake elbow from a gm dealer. it is called the 1le elbow. although 1le isnt listed in the rpos to get it, it is something to do with the heater is the rpo code you want.

No, it is not. Just make your own. Get a 90 degree 4" to 3.5" elbow, get 3 feet of flex hose 3.5" tubing, then get a K&N filter and you'll be set might need a coupler for the hose to K&N (home depot is good). Just run the hose into the fender well on the drivers side and put the K&N on. I used a rubber tie down to hold the filter in place( no need to loose a $45 filter for a bump in the road). All the parts might come to around $120 but you'll have a nice flowing intake with a good filter.

That would actually be a good deal. You can then buy the 2 filters here:
                          http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=21035B

That would put you right around $120-$130, compared to the retail price of nearly $300. I'd buy it if I were you.

That's where I bought my elbow. I'm using a LT1 Moroso CAI; hooked it up with a 4" to 3" 90* reducing elbow and a 3" coupler. Alot cheaper then buying a 1LE elbow, IIRC.

That would work, but I wouldn't recommend using flex-tubing as the ridges will disrupt flow; take some measurements and use PVC instead. Paint it black and it'll look better then the flex-tubing too.

would that elbow work? looks like it has a wide mouth and I am not sure if that would fit on our throttle bodies?
