Re: anybody got that Slp cold air
Who sucked water into an engine because of this? I'd be really curious to hear since the system isn't sealed or pressurized. I had it on my V6 and my Formula with nary a problem.www.fullthrottlev6.com
www.chitownracing.com

Re: anybody got that Slp cold air
/\ that is with any intake.
water isn't getting up there. you have to understand with this intake....it goes in front of your car....then there is the air filter, then the whister lid then the tb.....for the water to get alllllllllllll the way threw all of that......... then you went threw a BIG puddle. but the suction isn't great enough to pull rain or splashs all the way threw.

Re: anybody got that Slp cold air
Embarrassingly enough, I have driven through a big enough puddle to get water up one of those things. But let's just say that after my car stalled and I opened the door water almost splashed in so unless you're an idiot like me you should be OK. And hey, it was rainy! I couldn't see how deep it was :(

Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
By: Hib Halverson
At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
