whisper lid?for 97

will the whisper lids that are listed for 98 and up fit on my 97? if not is there one avalible for a 97?

98-02 were the only years to use "Lids".
93-97 have a pipe running to the drivers side fender well.

If you get a 98-02 radiator support, you may be able to use a whisper lid.
I am not sure if a 98-02 radiator support will bolt up to a 97.

i dont think theres anyway to use it...IIRC the front end redesign in '98 was actually because of the switch to the LS1. the LS1 used a lid, and as was, the lid didnt fit under the 93-97 hood...

It can be done but it comes with some modification. A guy on LS1tech cut the hood to get it to fit, but I did find this one. I know it's a V8 but the box is on a LT1 style car.

yea, not going to happen. Get a SLP cold air intake for the 93-97 car and be done with it.
