  • Pacesetter Headers Ceramic Coating

I'm getting ready to order a set of Pacesetter's for my 96, and I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on the ceramic "armor coated" style. Has anyone had any issues with the coating flaking off or losing it's shine like some of the other headers I've seen out there or do they hold their appearance well? Money isn't of concern, but If i'm gonna sopend the extra $150 I wanna make sure it's not for crap coating...

I don't have experience with them, but I chose to get the armor coating on the ones I bought yesterday. If you go to the right place the cost isn't too bad. I got mine from Herron Performance for $342.

Even if the armorcoating doesn't last too long just think about it this way. The painted would last even less.

After 3K miles, the coating on mine is still holding up.
