    Alrighty.

I have two options right now money wise.

    #1
New hi flow cat to replace the stock cat. And a new muffler to replace the Flowmaster 80series i have on there.

    OR

    #2
New headers to replace the stock ones i have. I want either pacesetters or rksport. Can you give me information on how the headers install and go from the engine down onto the exhaust i have now?

    Mods:
    Slp Dual Cold Air Intake
    Racing Stripes
Flowmaster Exhaust [2.5 Pipes, Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler]

Headers should be your goal, rather than a high flow cat.

seals are not involved with a header install

Cause the stock cat/y-pipe/s-pipe are all one piece.

so youre saying that to do headers, you have to get a new cat, s pipe and y pipe?
I thought that the y pipe usually came with the headers, and that could go into your exhaust

                Re: Headers Information

No, headers include the y-pipe. So if you want to keep the rest of the exhaust you'll need to do some cutting.

Anyone feel free to chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

oh i gotcha. i knew you had to do some cutting and welding. i thought you meant that for some reason, the headers wont fit with the stock exhaust

Different pipe diameters on the OP's car

yes, so long as the piping diameter matches up

it won't. On the OP's car, the y-pipe will be bigger than the front of the cat

                      Re: Headers Information

                      ok.

                      so smokepanther

                      i will need

                      1. Headers
                      2. Y pipe included with above
                      3. S pipe
                      4. New cat.

and have to take it to someone to weld it.
                      right?

Not if all you want to do is headers. If all you want to do is headers, what you would need is just the headers/y-pipe, and a reducer to match the front of the cat.
