i bought a used muffler and put it on my camaro..and its too high pitched. i dont know what series flowmaster it is tho.. whichever series it is...i want to stay away from. so i wanna figure out which is the deepest one. i want my car to sound like my 99 mustang 3.8 did..it had dual flowmaster 40'sComment

i got a flowmaster on my camaro (1 inlet, dual outlets)...and it doesnt sound good to me. it has no rumble at all. its a camaro 3.8 automatic with the cat replaced with a straight pipe. i bought the muffler used... could it be cuz the muffler was old? if i bought a brand new one it would probably be deep and have a rumble maybe? the one i have now it high pitched too. i dont know what series it is.
i'll go with 80 series if its deep and has a rumble. i want the same sound that my 99 v6 mustang had with flowmaster 40s and no cats.Comment
