    Im thinkin about buying a manual cutout next week and wanted to know how much was the installation prices for u guys???

        i was quated 80 for the cutout, and the install, but i didnt go thru with it.
        not sure how much it was for just the cutout.
        but it should take a shop like 10 min to do it

            its like a y shaped pipe that goes on your exhaust to by pass the muffler and run a short straight pipe basically

              I paid $50 for a decent tuffy to do it... Probably get it cheaper going to a independent and pay cash.


              There is always someone that knows some meth addict guy that works at a shop that will do it for $10-20 if you haggle... I figure $50 is good as long as welds are good and doesn't clang.

                if you want it really cheap, buy the summit one that clamps in with u bolt clamps. cut your pipe with a sawzall and install it yourself. then take it to a shop to have them weld it in place. 50 bucks or less total for cutout and install.
