ive got a magnaflow muffler with quad tips for sale, figured id put that out there as well, but neways... i put a flowmaster super 40 series muffler on my 97 now, and instead of having the muffler towards the rear of the car like most models, i was thinkn about putting it near the middle of the car and running slash tips from the muffler back...
whereabouts would i be able to get that muffler underneath without dragging, car sits low enough already!!! thanx
There really isn't anywhere you could put it besides the back that it wouldnt scrape. People still do it though, right before the over axle pipe. But like I said keep in mind that you most likely will scrape it eventually there.
Yeah, there's an indentation before the axle and under the passenger seat. On the Flowmaster 80 series catback kit, the resonator mounts there. I dunno how big a 40 series is..but it may work in that location. That's really the only place I could think to put it.
