talked to a guy about doing my exhuast this morning, was reccommended by the guy i work for (car dealership), and i told the guy i was planning on doing magnaflow catback, and asked him what i should go with, told me do the 80 series flowmaster muffler, and im doing 3" piping cat-back, with tips. gonna be about $300 alltogether

these threads are pointless is this is all it turns into, because people just say whatever exhaust they have is the best. look at it this way, they all flow about the same, from borla to flowmaster to WHATEVER.. theres not much of a difference, its all about personal preference.Dave:

i told him i wanted to go magnaflow, and he said that he did a v6 camaro of his sons friends and he said it sounded mean with what he did. so i told him to go for it.
im getting 3" piping cat to muffler, muffler and new tips

I had the flowmaster 80 series catback with the resonator on my bird. I liked it a lot. It definitely wasn't loud..atleast not like the loudmouth or rumbler can be..but it had a nice mellow tone that I liked a lot....even with all the badmouthing I hear the flowmaster systems get.
I thought about reinstalling it after my build, but decided to go with a T/A muffler with an electric cutout instead. That way I can have the best of both worlds. :D

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
