Well my catalytic converter went bad last night. I thought it was part of my exhaust dinging around so I got under it to have a look and it sounds like like the metal clanging sound is coming from inside the catalytic converter. I'm going to replace it with a high-flow one but don't know where would a good place to get one is. Jeg's has the magnaflow high-flow's for around $80 but I'm unsure of the in and out diameter and the type(oval, round, etc) I need. Anyone know? It looks like it would have to be welded in. Any idea on how much that would cost? I can't complain I guess, there's 119k on the original cat. It's a '95 3.4 if it matters. Thanks

Are all catco cats high flow. I have seen a couple that say it in the header but not in the description. I am afraid of buying one and it not being a high flow and the guy "saying well i didn't say it in the description".

Anyone know the in and out diameters? Also it looks like the stock one would be a "round" cat but I'm not really sure.

for the 3.4 it should be 2.25 on both sides

if you plan on having an exhaust shop put it on for you, the size doesnt really matter
