  • just got my whisper lid installed!

like it says, i just got it installed, tell me what you think

I noticed a little better throttle response, a nice sucking sound when you rev it up, and of course it looks way better than stock. also ordered a BMR strut tower brace, should be in and installed in less than a week, pics to come :)

my lil ati sensor was a pain, i had to take a lighter, melt the plastic a lil then slide the rubber thing in when the plastic was soft.
what does that little sensor do anyway?

uh, it's a sensor, not a plug....In the future, you may want to excerise more finesse when dealing with your car's sensor equipment

i'm confused. what exactly does this sensor/plug do. and is it worth the trouble?

it's called the Air Intake Temperature (AIT) sensor...should be pretty self-explanatory

my lid didn't have a rubber seal to put the ait in.. .so i went to advance and bought one for like 3 bux and it fit perfectly.
