    Re: Hi flow cat

Yes, and yes, well it wont make it rasp more, but you will be able to hear it more since it will be louder;)

i think that it all depends on the set up you have and the set up you plan to put in there.

                    Re: Hi flow cat

high slow cat made it sound better, but it was louder, therefore easier to hear the raspiness.

The powergain was also very noticeable, I went from 2.25 s-pipe and stock pos cat, to a 3inch spipe and catco cat... woke it up quite a bit, pwnd an acura 3.2tl that same day :)

^ Whats the point of putting a 3in cat and S pipe in if it just goes back down to 2.25 later in the pipe?

You are trying to say that that setup will create a bottleneck effect.
If you are not trying to say that then here is your answer:

^ Yes that was exactly what i was saying. Should i go with a 3in/3out cat and reduce it or just get a 3in/2.25 out? I'm buying one very soon so your help is greatly apreciated!

umm... on mine it goes to 2.75inch piping... n00b.

Plus your y-pipe is 3 inch anyways, so its bottlenecking anyways... yeah..

Even if I still had the stock catback id still use the 3 inch cat and 3 inch spipe, you can just weld a 3inch catback to it later on and be finished.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
