Exhaust whine

So about a week ago i installed a resonator and z28 tips. and it sounded pretty good. NO rasp at all at any rpm's but it was just too quiet for me. so i had the resonator taken off. well ever since i had it taken off i've noticed whenever i start my car and start driving it for about a mile, whenever i get above 3000 rpm's it makes a whining sound. its pretty loud. i dont know how else to explain it except for a loud deep whine coming out of the tips.

what could be causing this? an exhaust leak? just the exhaust gasses resonating out of the tips? anyone ever experienced this?

i mean its not that big of a deal because it doesnt happen all the time just EVERYTIME i start the car it'll do it for a little while.

i would check the welds where they took the resonator off... sounds like it may be a leak especially at those rpms
