Has anyone else done this? I just finished putting my Moroso CAI for the LT1 and my 3.8. It went together pretty nicely, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this, and how if they did. I just bought a 90* reducing elbow from Intake Hoses, and a 4" long 3" to 3" rubber pipe connector. Slip that over the elbow, and the other end on the intake, and it's good to go. Only thing is, you're trying to tighten rubber against rubber on one spot, and I was wondering if anyone's had problems with this popping up while driving. I have it installed w/out the block-off right now sicne I couldn't find my drill, but hopefully tomorrow I'll put that on, so I'll get abit more of a gain! Just though I'd share this with you guys while I ask if anyone else has done it.
Does anyone have any idea what I gained from this? The box says 16HP on a stock LT1. Aren't the 3.8 intakes more restrictive than the LT1s? Plus, I've got a cat-back system.
