do you guys think that it would be smart to raise the airbox on a car with a cold air intake installed?

The '98+ CAI's are designed to seal off the front of the air box. So I think unless you need some huge amount of air(SC or turbo) you are only working against the COLD air.

But it's only a 5 minute change. Its worth a try at the dragstrip or dyno.
